ABOUT
A graduate of Yale and the
A.R.T. Institute at Harvard, as
an actor, for many years I
worked Off-B'way, off-Off-B'way,
way-off regionally, also in
television, short film, and
voiceover. I was in countless staged readings and dozens of workshops, and particularly loved collaborating in the development of new works over 30 years. I remain a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association.
The pandemic lockdown of 2020 brought about my being drawn to focus solely on my other passion: music and the curation of it, playing with the surprise of it, and the creation of any atmosphere desired through curiosity and discovery. And I've been off and running ever since!
Ultimately, what interests me most is creating an experience that engages, encourages, motivates, even inspires, people. Music is one of our greatest communal joys, and I want to authentically make the most of it, by tailoring to whoever the guests. I believe my theater and collaborative background perfectly compliment this aim.
I am available to DJ whatever occasion you can imagine. (Though based in New York, I am portable and willing to travel.)

I have a 4-deck Pioneer DDJ-FLX10 controller, or can alternatively use a smaller 4-deck, 2-channel Roland 505 controller w/ a drum machine and sequencer, each of which allow for remixing on the fly, a Behringer Xenyx mixer for audio quality control, and a MacBook Pro using Serato Pro software when performing. I can also use just the laptop or a mobile device alone, with the proper sound system and/or lighting necessary for the venue in question. Tech is marvelous!
