Acting
A graduate of Yale and the A.R.T. / Moscow Art Theater Institute at Harvard, in Acting, I've worked Off-B-way, off-Off-B'way, way-off regionally, also in television, short film, and voiceover. I've been in countless staged readings and dozens of workshops, and have particularly loved collaborating in the development of new works. I bring 30+ years of experience to any project, and am a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
During the COVID pandemic lockdown of 2020, in lieu of any other work being available, I began doing more voiceover work from home: character and narrative work for some podcasts. I realized that I enjoyed it, with a facility for accents & voices. By the end of the year, I wanted to entirely pivot to seeking this sort of acting work. (In addition to shaving my head during this time [a bucket-list thing], and returning to DJ'ing as a passion, it was - as it was for so many - a big year!)
I am able to supply voice work remotely, having a recording space at home, a Rode NT-1 mic w/ shock mount and pop filter, an sE Electronics SPACE (Specialized Portable Acoustic Control Environment) iso-shield, and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. Currently using Twisted Wave and/or Audacity to record and edit.
